Adding iOS Devices to RobusTest
Before using an iOS device on RobusTest, you need to configure the device and ensure it is registered with your development certificate.
Device Preparation
-
Connect the iOS device to the RobusTest node server via USB. When prompted, tap Trust to trust the connected computer.
-
Go to Settings → Safari → Advanced and enable Web Inspector.
-
Go to Settings → General → Display & Brightness and set Auto-Lock to Never.
-
Ensure the device UDID is added to your Apple developer certificate and provisioning profile. RobusTest uses WebDriverAgent (WDA) to communicate with iOS devices, which requires the device to be provisioned for your development team.
Device ready! Once provisioned and trusted, your iOS device will appear in your device list and be available for testing.
