Unable to Access RobusTest Server
If the RobusTest server is inaccessible, contact your IT team to investigate. The following checklist covers the most common causes.
1. Network / LAN Connection Down
- Check whether the RobusTest server is reachable on the network.
- Verify the LAN cable is securely plugged into the server.
- Check if the LAN cable is faulty by trying a replacement.
2. Server Machine Down
- Check if the server has shut down due to a power failure in the server room.
- Check if the backup power supply has failed.
- Check the power strip the server is connected to.
- Check for a hardware fault that may have caused the machine to shut down.
3. Remote Login Disabled (macOS)
If the server is a Mac and remote login is disabled, re-enable it as follows:
- Log in to the server machine locally.
- Click the Apple menu (top-left corner) → System Preferences.
- Click Sharing.
- Enable Remote Login and set Allow Access for to All Users.
- Enable Remote Management and set Allow Access for to All Users.
